"Captain Drake" Begins Filming in Bulgaria

"SCOTLAND FIGHTER IN PIRATE FILM IN BALCHIK"

The coastal town of Balchik has recently become a location for a new Hollywood production "Captain Drake" and turned into an Oriental bazaar. The role of the legendary war hero, captain and pirate Drake will be played by Adrian Paul, known to cinema lovers as a star of the Highlander. About 80 residents of Balchik have been selected for extras. They will play Arabs, Spaniards or English soldiers. The producers have chosen for a setting the former summer palace of Queen Marie of Romania.....(Bulgarian Standard News).
