Adrian to Begin Filming "Nine Miles Down" (Revised)

Kate Nauta

Nick Nolte

on November 19 in Budapest, Hungary, according to Kate Hoffman, Seven Arts Executive President.

The philosophical thriller is a spine-chilling journey into the psyche of a man struggling to escape his tortured past.In the remote desert of the Australian Outback, a sandstorm batters a deserted drilling station. Thomas ("Jack") Jackman (Adrian Paul) a security patrolman, battles through the high winds to find out why all contact with the station has been lost. Originally built for gas exploration, and then abandoned, the site had recently been taken over by a multi-national research team intent on drilling deeper into the earth’s crust than ever before.

Adrian states: "I'm really glad the film's moving forward," Adrian exclusively tells www.adrianpaul.net . "I love the idea of a story that explores not only the obvious and mysterious threats in a character's immediate environment, but the internal obstacles they must also overcome. As an actor, it's always interesting to play characters who are conflicted and have issues to solve.”

The film is directed by Anthony Waller who also wrote and directed “An American Werewolf in Paris” and, the highly-acclaimed thriller, “Mute Witness” with Marina Sudina and Sir Alec Guinness (in his penultimate role). “Nine Miles Down” also stars Kate Nauta (“The Game Plan” and “Transporter II”) & Nick Nolte..
