When Stars Align to become full length feature film

As announced at Facebook:

A late decision has been made to not film a ‘sizzle’ reel of When Stars Align. Instead, a complete screenplay is being written by Greg Marquette, a well known screenwriter and director. He loves the book. Both he and Adrian Paul, who is our Producer/Director, are convinced funding can be found to make a full-length film of the book.

Adrian is exploring filming it in Canada where extensive film credits are available. Greg is connected to the William Morris Agency and believes they would be interested. Meetings are also being scheduled for the November AFM (American Film Market). It is all a little overwhelming. Thanks for all your support."  -Carole Eglash-Kosoff

Instead of Canada what about filming it in Michigan?  $58M in grants being offered to producers??
